We were approached by our client for this project to assist complete a renovation of this partly listed house in Sheviock. The original east wing is Grade II listed. Trewin House is 10,010 square feet including the garage and coach house. We have worked for the owner of Trewin House for over 20 years and when we received the call we were keen to get down to this beautiful part of the world and roll our sleeves up. Some work had already been completed by the owner; with the help of a local site manager and trades people: new roof; internal structural alterations, windows, heating system and plastering. However; this was over a period of 3 years. When we were contacted in March 2013 our client wanted to accelerate completion; so we met on site and devised a plan to complete the outstanding interior refurbishment works and miscellaneous external items. We sent a core team from London during April 2013 to temporarily live locally, supported by local trades; materials and services as required to execute the demanding programme. The owner had a clear idea of their requirements and we were able to work efficiently as a team to deliver the finished result during August 2013.
